Postby mahmood » Wed Jul 01, 2015 9:15 pm

hi there ....

i'm totally new for this Garmin GPS world so i need any help i can get.

i'm living in Bahrain and when i decided to purchase a Garmin Nuvi 65LM i found a very big price difference between local shops here and on eBay

from eBay it will cost me about : 120 usd from Driven GPS USA , but with lifetime Maps for USA
from local markets it will cost about : 260 usd , with lifetime Maps for middle east and Africa

and i need the middle east and Africa maps , so can any one confirm that i can upgrade to middle east maps if i bought the GPS device from eBay .
and if it will be the same with all the details ??

LTM is only valid for the map present on your device when bought.

Maps for other areas will have to be bought seperately. And I'm not sure if you can buy LTM with Garmin for your area.
I know you can't with TomTom.

But you can always call Garmin Support and ask. They are there for that.
