I got this on eBay it says it has nav. It has a button marked navi and a slot marked gps. and a jack on the back marked gps-tv. But I did not get a map card or gps antenna . How can I find out what gps program I need?

Your best bet is to contact the seller.

Well I got it from a friend of a friend who got a different head unit and didn't install this one. And he says he don't remember witch seller he got it from. I connected the seller in the link witch is in Hong Kong and he just said get a map card local and it will work. Not much help.

I had hopped there would be a program that scan it and show the hard wear. But I haven't found any. I think it is probably running win ce but don't know for shore.

You can try this WinCE program on a SD card. Post your results.

I downloaded that and put it on a micro sd card. but the micro sd card won't go in the gps slot. Is there a different type card that is that size

Well there is no card reader behind the gps slot. So tis unit does not have nav.

AFAIK, micro SD cards are not accepted in some nav devices - only standard sized cards. You probably need to get an adaptor or a proper sized card.
