I have a Becker Z 098 with IGO8. Everything had always worked fine until yesterday when i turned it on and the following error appeared:

"CreateProcess shell.exe fail"

i really don't know what it means...:)
i've tried to update it by content manager and the Z098 has been seen, all maps have been updated. At the end such error has appeared again!!

Some infos:
I have no backup (I'm an idiot!!!!!i should have done it!!!)
I have no SD in my becker

Hope someone can help me!!!

thanks

It could mean something with/on the SD is wrong.
But there is no SD? Was there when all was normal and working?

You might try deleting the save folder since it is possible that a problem occurred the last time you exited the program.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Shell.exe is a windows ce process, so this looks like a corrupted ROM.

"If" it's possible to do a hard reset, that might fix it.

Otherwise it's a reflash, IF you can find the image files.

Thanks for your replies!

there was no SD when it was working..
i tried to push the little botton on the upper side of the Becker for a few second but nothing happened. Is this a hard reset?
i also tried to search for a new rom into the web but i was not able to find something good :022:

any suggestions???

The save folder can be found in the root of the program on your SD card. Connect your device to your computer via a USB cable.

Everyone seeking for help is the only one with the device in front of him/her and should think a little logical too. Okay?

I know. You posted that. I said SD card but the program can be on the internal disk also. You have to use your own thinking here. When you're finished with the program, how do you turn the program off?

When you're finished with the program, how do you turn the program off? As Nabi said, your device is not in front of us so we can't put our hands on it. So all our support is by words only. You have to do the work.

Perhaps your program got corrupted. You may need to either download/install it again or copy/paste your back up if you have one.
