Hi,

I am trying to update maps on my Nuvi 1300. I have used Mapsource and created small map file from City Navigator Europe NT 2014.40 Unlocked.img file. I see a map file in my device and that is checked as well, but when I try to use Where to option and Address I see only "No map data available. I have tried to copy map file to Garmin folder and renamed it but still the same. I am stuck with that and do not know what to do. Appreciate any help. Thanks

MapSource is long time outdated program. Use MapInstall for current maps.

Still the same with Mapinstall, but when I downloaded map of Eastern Europe it works! I guess I am making some mistake in Gmaptool during creating map for Mapsource/Mapinstall...I am going to get a microSD card and copy there a mop of Western Europe, but this map is larger than 2GB...

It is generally a mistake to make a PC-installable map with gmaptool, except there is no gmap/mapsource version available and it is only for route planning on PC. Never create a new map image from gmaptool created Mapsource version!!!
Why don't take PC version (gmap folder with installer)?

Thank you for the advice. Good to know. I will try to load whole Europe map to microSD card. Hope it will work.

For nuvi 1300 it will work with CN Europe NT 2014.40.

CN Europe NTU 2015.20 loaded on microSD card and it is working like charm. No problem. Thank you for help.
