There you will see the word "Authorizing". Below it is a GOLD KEY & 5 black dots. That is a password window. Replace the black dots with the password: downunder
Then click the blue rectangular Submit button & the second linkcrypt page, containing the filefactory links, will open. Do not choose Mirror

Forgot to mention:
There is no need to use Home as there is no support for the simulation.
To update the GPS quick fix data you can use the function in the menu (with a connected and working phone) or use the updater inside the "ephem" folder on your PC. --- Only works for the GO models or devices using the SIRF chipset, will not work for device using the Global chipset, like ONE or XL models ---

Hi i am using Navcore 9.701 Truck on a tom tom 520 it works great i read the thread about altering the height of the truck that works ok in the vehicle settings. My problem is the bridge height in Loughborough 14' 3" on all maps it is set at 14' 6" when i go to alter it in map corrections there are no ' " marks and no obvious way to alter the height of the bridge. Also it says when i have altered the map ie road speed / bridge height ect. it says the map has been changed when it has not. I used to change on my map when possible the speed of the roads relevant to trucks ie 60mph on motorways 50mph on dual carriageways and so on but it does not save them any more with this latest navcore. It is a shame as one of the only criticism of Tom Tom Truck is that all the speed warnings are for cars not trucks. I had one of the cheep 7" truck satnavs off ebay and that was set for truck road speeds. I also noticed in map corrections the button for adding and removing roundabouts is not there anymore, is it just my 520 or has anyone else noticed this. Sorry for the long post but every time the navcore is updated we seem to loose something http://www.navitotal.com/images/smiley/think.gif

Im using the latest Euro Truck 910_4958 map as i like to keep the latest maps on my device. I drive all sorts of trucks working for an agency anywhere in the country so the satnav needs to be current. All i am doing is pointing out the pitfalls of tom tom truck which by the way i find very good but could be better. regards tony

http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?11910-Discussion-Truck-Navcore-9.700-and-current-map works great when setting the truck height. But if you want to alter the map with map corrections it does not work, not on my sysem anyway. regards tony

sorry picked this up a bit late.
in height settings you input 13 and press "done" then "back" and tap on the white part of the screen and it should show 13'
tap 6 then "done" then "back" and you should see 13' 6"
do that for any other ft and inches needed but always go "back" to check you got it right.
