It depends on what shell you are using, if you're not using one there are floating buttons you can use instead.

In that case set up an shortcut to point to a mortscript that loads the wifi driver, and then use another script to load the tmc diver then start iGO

ran device information on my new Chinese beast that claims to be 128MB memory. But it reports total RAM as 55248KB. Is that right? Have I been sold a low memory device claiming to be 128MB?

You may find the memory division is in the middle...

On the device, find some way of running \windows\control.exe
Open the System applet
Tap on memory
Drag the slider all the way to the left

Now you will have the full 128MB of RAM, Please note that some will be allocated as video memory, so it may be nearer 100MB

@oodathort

Download Mortscript.rar from here

Create two scripts, one to load the wifi driver, and one to load the TMC driver then start iGO, the code you already have to do this is fine, just add Run ("\{path\to}\iGO.exe") at the bottom, Then create two autorun.exe files to match.

You will end up with files similar to this...

Mortscript.exe
Wifi.exe
Wifi.mscr
iGO.exe
iGO.mscr

Put them somewhere safe on the device.

Then create two standard Windows CE shortcuts to point to them. You can use this if you're lazy.

Place these two shortcuts in \windows\desktop and restart the device...

Now hopefully starting iGO from the desktop should load the TMC driver and start iGO, or starting Wifi should load the Wifi driver.

If the slider is as far left as it will go, and it still says around 55MB then you have a 64 MB device.

Free / Total RAM available 40500 KB / 55248KB

This is what i'd expect to see for a 480x272 64MB device!

5268

That's what I've got. Looks like a complaint to the seller is needed.

This is the item I bought:

I think testing out his 14 day Guarantee and return policy is a good idea.

Although my 64MB Mio M400 runs Primo with all the bells and whistles...

Does port splitter actually install itself, or just run off the SD card? Is there any way to remove any traces of the program if so? help!

It is installed, but won't affect anything unless it's run, it makes it's changes to system in ram, so if you reboot and don't run it your device is back to normal.

very simple app launcher

Postby michscho » Fri Jul 12, 2013 9:27 am

Hello, many times i have searched through internet, but havent found anything reliable.

What i need is a fullscreen wince launcher deep blue or dark grey background. (or possibly editable)

With two or possibly three editable paths to the custom apps with oversized and nicely centered icons on the grey backround.

No clock, batery meter, power switch or anything. It should be a direct oposite of miopocket. As simple as it gets, but graphically attractive.

Sometimes i need to run some extra app, for example a tv tuner on mios with tv and i dont want to use any of non original igo skins.

do you have anything like that?

thank you

Mike

You can use an application called "system information v1.6" to create what you want.

Most device unlocks use it, download one from the GPS unlock section and have a look, you can create almost anything with it.
