Help with Navigon GPS settings

Postby plamen » Thu Aug 22, 2013 2:34 pm

Hi Djelle,

Still nothing. But I'm still trying with different values.
Not sure what is "<DeviceType>0</DeviceType>", and how it plays in acquiring gps signal. Will try to ask the seller, if he can help.
Let me know, if you find some solution.

I did tried with different combination : port 1,2,3... and all baud rates from 48000 to 57600. Nothing happens.
By the way, I did manage to run Sygic 12. It get gps fix, and since the program is seeking auto for port and baud rate I can see the port is "2" and the baud is "9600" The only problem is it runs very slow during navigation. On my old car unit {chinese} I had "Primo", "Navigon" and "Sygic" running very fast, without any problem. My new unit has more power, but the only navigation that runs well is "Primo", but I don't give up, because I like "Navigon"

Attached unit spec. And post "3" has link to the shop.

Thank you

I tried your settings (ConnectionType=2).
That does not work.
