Two Zumo 550, same map, but still different level of details?

Postby janebrink » Thu Jan 05, 2012 5:30 pm

Hi guys.

I got two Zumo 550. I've loaded them with the exact same map, Sweden/Norway/Finland 2012.30. Still if I have them next to each other, one of them is more detailed and you can see the names of the streets as you go along. See pictures.

I've configured them exactly the same.

Can it be the basemap that's the difference?

Cheers!

Are you sure, both devices have same firmware, same map and exactly the same configuration?
The basemap has no attack to the map datails.

I was about to compare the firmware earlier today but I managed to freeze one of the units while fingering the on/off button... Im at work now so I don't have a screwdriver to loosen the battery to reboot, but I'll compare the firmware tomorrow. But I think it's the same firmware, cause webupdater says both units are up to date...

The maps is the exact same file loaded onto the units. And I have configured both units while they were sitting next to each other to the exact same config...
