Not complaining. Just wishing for answers. I've been using this Fullbackup 9.405 for a week now.
My problems is: Sometimes, device will boot up automatically without my having to turn it on. Other times, the device refuses to boot except only after using a pin to reset it. A cure for this?

You might want to try SE 9.430 or Downunder's [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

All,
I thought I'd share a recent experience that I *think* is related to the 9.405 navcore.
I installed the navcore at the end of last week (Thanks Downunder
) and, over the weekend, in the morning, my 910 wouldn't turn on. At all.
At the time, I was experienced the documented issues with GPSFix and the fact that the 910 couldn't navigate for my trip and so was confused as to whether something else was at play.
Anyhow, GPSFix is now, well, fixed and still the problem remained. I could charge my device, it would show a full battery, I would turn it off and, in the morning, the battery was completely dead and the device wouldn't turn on without being charged for ~15mins first.
Hmmmm.
So, last night I ran clear flash a couple of times, turned the device off (it had not external power) and sat it next to the TV. Low and behold, after ~30mins, it just turned on!!!
Turned it off and again (didn't time it this time) it came on again later.
Anyway, this morning, I've put 9.205 back on and so far haven't experienced the same problem although it's a little early to draw conclusions.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else has experienced this and thought they were going crazy (or had a fix!)
S
Edit to add: After the first two times of the device being dead in the morning, I activated the battery saving feature which does an auto shut off when external power is lost. This didn't make a differenceLast edited by stuarto; 07-05-2012 at 04:02 PM.

I got a few feedbacks like that for the X10 devices using the 9.4 NC.
Uploaded a 9.430 with support for the CF HDD system [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
but never got any feedback if it solved the problem.
Must be hardware related as only the X10 models and only a few of them experience the weird gost starts.
I suspect a problem with the watchdog, maybe the file is not created correctly or not at all.
Disabling the watchdog work for the problem, but a missing watchdog will cause endless reboots if a real problem appears.
Give the above 9.430 a try, if still no good I will try to find out what I can change for the X10 models.NTTT GO730, Navcore: always testing different ones, current map of Australia, Bootloader 5.5256, 16GB SDHC incl. Tomplayer, ttmaps, Height11

Hi Downunder,
Thanks for uploading the Navcore.
I installed it last night and, so far, no problems at all. The device certainly didn't turn itself on overnight.
You had me confused at first though as there were a couple of things missing - the Status & Information icon and also the skin changer appeared as the only icon on two different pages.
I figured out it was the skin, reverted back to #37 and all is good
Will let you know if I notice anything over the next week or so.
Thanks
S

Hi,
I'd just like to thank you for your work, as I've just come back from Florida where I've used my "old" TT One New Edition V1, updated with the Navcore you posted and a recent USA map (thanks a lot to the persont that uploads maps, as well).
I've had no trouble, the device, despite the fact it's a bit old, worked smootly and took me everywhere without a glitch.
Keep up the good job.
Cheers.
