I like this release very much. good response fast loading. better than the honda crap release I tried which does TTS, but not find any cities I enter and you do not have a country selection option on that one. Very annoying for me. hope TTS will be fixed on this release soon.

9.6.13.405512 is still one of the best Primo WinCE releases ever, if not the very best (as TTS does work )
Not only here, on many other respected forums 405512 has a very good reputation. And more, it's hard to find another one with the same opinion about 405512 as you.

That you find it crappy could mean you downloaded a crappy release. Either a broken download or some hobby but not capable cracker (I even can think of some names here ) made some changes to a good working release and then shared it as it's own.
9.6.13.405512 has as every other Primo, the features you are missing and therefor you call it crappy. Funny.

Anyways, everybody is entitled to his opinion.

I tried the one on this forum. And after clean install in the igo interface to navigate to a city+street. I have no option to first select country, only one search field. And if I try to enter my city it does not accept the letters.

in the previous igo or this blaupunkt release I have normal option, first country, than city and if click on city. I can enter my city normally.
so somehow the skin (I think) in this version is messed up.

so if you know a good 405512 with normal igo interface. no useless honda crap logo on the home sceen and a normal search function like all the releases I tried before. please let me know.

What language file do you use? That may be the culprit.
The startup logo can be changed easily, just that you know it. You can add every pic you like

If that works, you can try adding your files and see the result.

I have to apologize. I tried the version in your link.. And... It works like a charm!!!! I have dutch TTS, can use dutch language pack. Can do a nromal search with country, city , street selection. It All works flawless with interface I was using before. I think I downloaded a crappy modifed version which **** it all up. That honda release was a big katastrofe

AFAIK 405512 was released in a Honda Civic device, hence the name and the logo. However, as happens on more successful releases, some user makes its own creation to his likings (and specific device) and next distributes it without considering not everyone has the same taste nor device. And next ... I think you get my drift.
My advice? When one knows who (and which forums) to trust, one most of times (always) ends up with reliable releases. Simple.
Even more simple - but less exciting - when one can hold back and rely on what works well and likes, and not at all experiment wildly (or want the newest because it's newer)

Does anyone have the latest CE version of IGO Primo, I am running 9.6.13.491814 on my Binatone 430 but would like to get it up to date.
