For ur info nagas...this is the spec of my gps...

Processor ARM 11 500 MHz
Internal Memory 64MB
External Memory 2GB SD Memory card (included)
GPS Chipset SiRF Atlas-IV
Audio stereo track: 0.2w/4w build speaker 20mW/30W
Screen size 3.5inch TFT high resolution screen
Screen resolution 320*240
Battery lasting time 1 1/2 hours (working), 120 hours (stand-by)

don't give up on Papago, your problem is the map, I suspect you have installed the wrong map, please get the new map here [Please Register or Login to download file] and extract then put inside "maps" folder > X5SE\maps\R21_MFM_SSC ....(about 30 files)

if ppgx8 can not lock satelite, what is possible problems?

newbie here. recently i bought secondhand 2din dvd player/GPS preinstalled with M3GPS X5.2. How do i know which com port and baud rate the device used?

Monsters GPS was kind enough to send me the links required. After a bit of problem with filefactory, I got it all. Now the problem I have is how to physically change the COM using the file I was sent. It is not a valid Win32 file so I can't do it on the PC. Anyone care to enlighten me?
