I have a WinCE 5 480x272 generic Chinese GPS (Rom Ver 7DA82C.YF.F.10.14). Not sure which version (this or R6600) suits.

Much appreciated if you could PM me the links for the appropriate Com1/Com2 software and maps.

Tried this R6100 version with fatal error displayed immediately after the X8 screen.

Also tried the R6600 exe file in this forum, the same resulted.

Then try the M7 version for Taiwan with Hong Kong maps (R51 files instead of R21 files of the 6xxx series), it works but with some erratic displays (eg. highway number) and the route planning seems to be different from the authentic HK version.
