I've had this Motorola TeleNav500 gps unit for a while. It's been in a drawer and I pulled it out today and wanted to see if there is a way to update the firmware or the maps on it for free. Don't really want to pay for anything since it is so old now. Was just curious if there was something I could do. I saw a topic on this forum from a few years ago but it didn't really go anywhere so wanted to try a new one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

there is a file that allows you to use newer maps on your motonav. i do have it if you want. or you can use sygic wince with new 2015 maps but thats a little more complex.
