Sorry to be a nuisance but will this meta be included in Fast Activate? I ask this because I downloaded it yesterday but it didn't work for me.

FastActivate 17.02.2013 & Albert's EasyActivator 6.14 (01/02/13) have a meta.txt update feature included in them.

Could you explain this meta.txt update feature for me. I did what I did for the last set of maps, that is put FastActivate.exe in the UK&NI folder on the SD card and run it. It all seems to run OK but my satnav says its the wrong activation code. I even tried puting the Integrated_meta.txt file in with it. I must be doing something wrong, so can you please advise.
Thanks

"Update meta.txt" is the first item in the FastActivate 17.02.2013 menu. It was not available in the FastActivate version that was current, when the 900 edition maps were released in November. Click on FastActivate 17.02.2013 to read about all 7 menu items in this current version.

As far as I can tell with my limited brain capacity, I can't see what I am doing wrong. I am doing exactly what you told me to do when I installed the 900 maps. I assumed that I just need to click on fast activate, which then gets the correct meta from a server somewhere. Do I need to do something more this time? I am clicking on "Update meta.txt" in the menu. Is that wrong?
Thanks

No, you are doing it right. When you click it, you should get a message that reads: Updated meta.txt is dated 03/03/2013.

The UK & ROI 905.4800 meta code is included in the update.

OK, I've just tried it again to be absolutely sure, but the satnav still says wrong code.
Thanks

If the meta code is wrong, neither FastActivate 17.02.2013 nor Albert's EasyActivator 6.14 (01/02/13) will patch the map, & you will not have a .meta.dct file in the map folder.
Without a .meta.dct file in the map folder, your unit will not boot. You will get a message that you can't use this map.

I assumed the meta file was OK because no one else had any problems, hence me asking what I was doing wrong.

i activated mine with an older version of alberts easy activator- Alberts Easy Activator v0.57.21 , i copied and pasted the meta text into the activators meta file and it activated fine-having said that when i copied it and pasted it into the meta file of the activator it took up 2 lines so i just edited it so it looked uniform with the rest of the meta codes in the file and it worked fine.

Well I'm not sure how I did it but it finally worked OK.
Last time tendriver helped me, he told me to try running fastactivate in the map folder, and it worked. THIS time, it didn't.
I ran it in the root directory. :)

Thanks
