i have central europe on it, and now i need eastearn europe or whole europe.

There's a lot of conflicting information above: TomTom Go or TomTom One?....Application 7.162 or 8.204?...Bootloader 55010 or 55001?

Your device needs a navcore update before you can think about getting a new map.
Assuming it is a TT One v3, the latest official navcore is 8.010 so you should install TomTom Home software and let it backup & update the device for you, although we always recommend backing up your current setup before anything else just to be safe.

After the navcore update, how much space is left is going to be the problem as TT maps have increased in size a lot since your last map.
The complete Europe map will be impossible as it's far too big for your device, you'll be looking for a map that suits your needs/ is small enough to fit/ and has a meta code already released.

I have a TomTom one 3rd edition (1Gb) 4N01.002 and I solderd a 8Gb SD CARD in. Also I changed the bootloader to 5.5022 and installed Navcore: 9.051.503855.2

Then I put Europe V990-8306 map in the internal 8Gb memory and all is working nice and good. Mapsize: 3.2GB!
Note: This is only possible with this type TomTom one 3rd edition, 4N01.002

According to the Table, The relevant Version could be: 990.83xx
xx = 17,18,19,32,65,66,67
Based on APP version and space, What is the latest US map version I would be able to Install on my device ?
(Actually I need only Texas).

1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the content.

2) Unpack the* navcore (winrar ) and place folders and files on your Device.

3) Reset The Device (minimal 15 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"

4) Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map. You can delete the cspeech file in the map
--
5) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your device.
Run "FastActivate.exe".
     Select 2 and Done

Yes, you would get that error if you didn't install the new navcore 9.510 as per Holyhead's instructions...the map must be compatible with the navcore

If you've still got NC 8.010 installed as listed above in your ttgo.bif, the map US_West_South_Central_990_8305 is not compatible
