No sound warning with speed cameras

Postby cnbs38 » Thu Dec 13, 2012 8:45 pm

I like to leave navigation voice off but be warned of speed cameras.

This used to work but seems to have stopped with 900 maps
the cameras still flash up but thee is no sound.

I have switched sounds on and set volume to reasonable level (navigation is muted)

Is this on xl 30 with 9.02? navcore

thanks

Have you set the alerts & sounds in Main Menu, TomTom Services, Speed Cameras, Change warning preferences?

Thanks but there is no option for Tom Tom services either in main menu or preferences.
Some of the options like map corrections & help me both appear twice.

Is the navcore corrupted ? Should I reinstall or upgrade it?

You installed the Navcore in the wrong way or incomplete.
Corrupt menus clearly show it ;)
