TT Carminat

I have been surfing the posts for a solution and seem not to have cracked it yet..

I have bought a 2011 renault which features a TT carminat. This TT version works with an SD card.

However I have not been able to complete the task with either the TT easytools or FastActivate.

Any help would be greatly apreciated

I have a TT Carminat. Which navcore and map can I use. http://www.navitotal.com/post13043.html didn't work for me. I had navcore_8842.542199.Carminat_TomTom and map Europe 970.7467 this was patcher and installer. Please help me. The TT say map cannot be used.

Unfortunately it didn't work.

I got the message "You cannot use this map in this navigation system: Europe-100936".

What can be wrong? How can I check if the navecore is installed correct?

Please help.

Do you have a ttgo.bif file ?
If so use number 3 from FastAktivate en wait till announcement Navcore Patched.

I have a ttgo.bif file and I used number 3 from FastAktivate. Navcore was Patched. Still didn't work.

I have no idea why it not works.
How you got the ttgo.bif file. Have you made it yourself and if so how you got the device ID.

I have made the ttgo.bif myself. The device ID I got from the original card. I tried the new map with a new card.

Try something else I hope this works.

What to do?

0) Put a new sd-card in your Radio/Carminat and let create the folder "loopdir"

1) Extract "NC_8842_Full_Complete_Install_yDGpatch.zip" and copy folders and files to your sd-card.
[Please Register or Login to download file]
2) Copie ttgo.bif file to the root SD Card
3) Use map Europe 980.7898 Unpack it and
Copy the new map to your SD card in its own folder.
When you open the map you see the individual files.
Not a map in a map.
4) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your SD Card root.
Run "FastActivate.exe".
  Select 2.

Done

This didn't work either.

I tried this with a Micro SD in an adapter. Can it be that this turns into an error? I have found an empty SD card (2GB). Which map (Western Europe) can I use for the Carminat and which navecore?.

Are you shure that you have the right ttgo.bif file and not ttgo.bif.txt

You can only use the navcore from post 12.

THERE IS A PROBLEM REPORTING OFFLINE FILES. IF FILES APPEAR TO BE OFFLINE, THEY ARE NOT.
JUST CLICK ON FILE TO DOWNLOAD

I have a correct ttgo.bif file. Otherwise the Fastactivate.exe don't work correctly.

I got a succesfull execution from that step.

Can I use a microSD with the adapter? Or must it be a SD card?
