Can anybody help me get a map for Thailand?

Postby Illya » Sat Apr 15, 2017 3:59 am

I have been looking over the internet for the last two days only to come across dead or broken links

I am trying to get

945_6176
935_5744

For Thailand

If anybody knows where I can get either on of these maps would be greatly appreciated

I could help find a place to upload if that's a problem

Thanks in Advance!

You might like to consider using Southeast Asia which includes Thailand.

You will find the June 2015 950.6558 version here :-

Code: Select all
http://www36.zippyshare.com/v/Xr9ldt7w/file.html

Code: Select all
http://www119.zippyshare.com/v/kxYeUitI/file.html

You may prefer the later August 2016 975.7691 version.
There are plenty of live links around.

The 975.7691 map is basic which unlike the 950.6558 map doesn't support IQ routes, Automatic Lane Guidance, Spoken Street Names, and additional navigational instructions.

Thanks so much TomTom13

After playing around with the map you provided

I saw that when I put in a few places around Bangkok no issues

However when I put in Chiang Rai no street names

Looked on this web site Navitotal

http://relink.to/view.php?id=372522c2c7fc61176dc26cbcadf1c8

goes to South Africa Swaziland and Lesotho 975.7687_Installer.exe

file factory

http://www.filefactory.com/file/vjnxa7htg3x/?code=265

Found the other map you were talking about.

Using the basic map has street names (Chiang Rai) maybe it has something to do with spoken street names...

Now I have both so I guess if you use the newer map you may need to plan ahead an use longitude and latitude (google).

The biggest problem is the transliteration to English (Thai is a difficult language) many variations for the same place.

I did play around with Tom Tom home cant use the emulator saying maps are not valid even the original map with the device.

Did look at some other web sites about this... Still yet to make time for to find the solution

Anyway Thanks again
