Automatic Installer & Patcher Instructions:
Maps with “Automatic Installer & Patcher” are a Navitotal Exclusive Product.
Before you begin, back up your primary memory, either internal or SD card.
If you use a SD or SDHC card for additional storage only, then you need a copy of your device's ttgo.bif on this card before patching.
You just need to download and run the file on your computer.
1. With your TomTom device plugged in or your sd card in your sd reader and an active internet connection
2. Click on the .exe file [Choose TomTom path or sd path] and click on the [Install] button.
3. Wait until the install process finishes and your new map will be installed and patched.

Hi All,

More problems with map activation :-( I have downloaded UK 985_8155 with the autoinstaller and tried to load it onto my TomTom One; I used the auto installer after the difficulties I had with 980 maps and finding that the autoinstaller allowed the map to be activated whereas the normal downloads always failed. When I run FastActivate (the latest dated 8/2/17) I get the UK map shown as uncomplete and also a Europe map also showing as uncomplete! I have never had a Europe map on the TT and, when I return to the 980 map and run Fastactivate it shows only the UK map as complete and no sign of the Europe map. Is there an issue with this download or is it still me/my system now :-D Many thanks.

The map will not activate without a meta being present.

The reason why the auto-installers won't work at the moment is because FastActivate hasn't been updated with the latest metas yet.

1. TomTom has made some errors on a couple of the new maps...nothing new there, but one of them is UK & ROI 985.8155.
Extract that map & check inside the folder to see if it contains the following 2 files:

Southern_Europe_4.pna
Southern_Europe_4-101059.meta

If they are there....delete them and copy the remaining folder to your device.
Download the following meta file & extract it to the root your device....then run FastActivate from the root your device and select option 2 and it will activate successfully.

2. You didn't say which Europe map your having problems with...are you talking about Europe 985.8155?
If so, extract the map to your device & activate it using the same META.txt & procedure as above.

Well done ! That fixed it. I hadn't thought to look in the map dir for errors but the 2 files you mentioned were there, and that Southern_Europe was the map error that FastActivate was showing. I had already copied and pasted the META info into my file which worked fine. Unfortunately, the file you sent is not opening correctly :-( Many thanks again for the assistance!

Ok, glad you fixed it

There is nothing wrong with my file but the fact you can't open it shows that your version of WinRAR is out of date, you should update it to the latest version 5.40

Now is down again but when I posted it was working (I'm downloading a map right now and the download is going on!).
Maybe relink is not 100% ok yet... but that's something.

Relink seems to be down more often than it is working. I have been trying to use it for 5 days now - still down.
