Navigon Europe Q3/2016 Fresh Maps MN7 & MN8

I want to install the files on a Navigon 70/71 Plus but when i install the maps the GPS restarts when i chose destination. What did i do wrong? Are the maybe files missing?

I tried several times, but nothing works. is it incompatible?
I use a SD card because my memory is small.

The only thing you have to do is changes the NFS files and Country files (i.e. France.map)
in the folder Map. So don,t try something with the SD Card first this.
So tell me of that works.

My navigon 1200 detects the cards, he offers me to choose between the origins and those cards 2016. But when I enter a destination it remains stuck waiting signal. The demonstration does not work.

In the folder Navigon go to the folder settings
Open with notepad the file
UserSettings.xlm

You see a line
<GPSPort>2</GPSPort>

Wich no, port is there ?

I suspect that the 1200 use port 7 for GPS. So change the 2 in 7 and save the file.
Lets see if you get some GPS fix.

I unzipped the software and follow the instructions but it does not work.

First, thank you holyhead for your help!
Finally I found why it did not work !
My sd card was not recognized by the GPS as an extension of memory, here's why it did not work.
I have inserted my sd card in my gps and restored to the original state the gps with navifon fresh it has reinstall the original software and format the sd card by renaming it NavigonSD.
Once the sd card is renamed NavigonSD, it's simple :

1. Open the folder NavigonSD.
2. Create a folder Navingon in NavigonSD.
3. in this folder Navigon create a folder Map.
4. Open the folder Map and put all the cards you want and all NFS files
5. Once all the items have been copied, close Navigon SD disconnect your gps from the computer
6. Go to configuration, click on map representation, go to page 2 and click on Country and select Q3 2016.
7.The gps will restart automatically and it's good.


The maps are working, but I do not have a radar alert yet. As soon as I find a solution, I post !

No but my radars are from 2010 (when I bought my Navigon 2110 max)
In the folder Poi you must have the file
ALL_POIWARNER.pom.
Then make a simulation i.e.

Netherland
Eindhoven
Kennedyplein 5
to
Eindhoven
J.F.Kennedylaan 100
Then you find 2 radars

Or another route
