Igo Primo 2.4 Works Great! But no maps!

Postby Stuxtruth » Mon May 23, 2016 2:28 am

So I just recently bought an Eonon 5150 for my M3. I've downloaded Igo Primo 2.4 and it works fine. When I try to add maps I add them to the maps folder... and no luck. Its just a green screen on my GPS. Am I missing somthing?

We need some more information to give any help.

What maps did you download and where exactly did you put them? What is the file extension?

My extension is .fbl
I only put one map in the folder to test first. North Carolina, USA
I've tried about 6 different map packs. 3 intended for igo8 and 3 intended for igo primo 2.4.
Navi loads up fine but no maps.
I'm putting them in content/maps

Sure about the name "content/maps"?
Change it to "content/map" without the extra "s" at the end.

FYI: The maps for IGO8.3 and Primo are exactly the same.

When you tick your finger on the map screen, you can move the map around, zoom in and out. Aren't there any roads somewhere?
I'm asking in case your location is not found or placed in some woods - even it's not so in reality. Meaning: it could be the GPS has no location yet or is off (wrong).
Which is your Primo build? ( because AFAIK Primo 2.4 does not need an extra license for the maps, while primo NextGen does)

Yes I've tried zooming out. Only state outlines. Just can't figure it out. I've tried multiple maps from different sources mainly navteq

Maybe this is a license issue? Check in the About->Content menu to see if the map shows as licensed or not....
