MapKing for Navigation Devices

Postby smartufo » Sun Mar 13, 2011 1:40 pm

Thanks a lot, Peacher. Any other ways to have a go at the maps I have? I heard that Papago uses similar map structure as MapKing but don't know which version as there are so many Papago versions out there. Any guidelines / directions would be very appreciated. Thanks again.

They are almost the same maps except there is software coding in the maps to work with different exe files.
You can change MFM maps to work for Mapking.
But quite a lot of work. Many a times - the road search will not be available for some units especially those chinese sirf devices.

Why don't you switch software to Papago. Maps are readily available.
Make request there as accordingly to your units resolution.
Someone will guide you from there.

HI alex,

1, choose MapKing Pro,
2, insert SD/Micro Map Card
3, turn on the PND
4, run MapKing

That's it ^^

I have a Navman S200 with the following specifications (WinCE 5, 480x272 screen resolution, 128MB SD-RAM). I am looking to install MapKing, is this program compatible with my device? Also looking for Australia map. Can you help please?

Cheers,
