I´d like to know why you used a previous version map in 1.8 release (870.3407) when you used in 1.7 (870.3460)

¿it´s a matter of space, incompatibility, etc...?

It's the other way: He included the latest map also in 1.7. There's no newer map currently than 870.
The numbers behind the point refer to different versions of the same map - see map section in this forum

It 'an official version, I have not changed the map here, I just added Europe avutovelox, Italian voices pack i and pdi for Italy.

In version 1.7 but I had changed the map.

In this version 1.8 it seems that the maps are only running the default
