Hi Fredderf,

Today I was looking for a new Europe and Benelux map, but I don't know which one to choose. Can you please help me out together with the meta files?

You'll be wanting Europe 990.8306 & Benelux 990.8306 as both of them are the fully featured maps and both have metas codes released already.

You'll also need to download a new copy of FastActivate

Follow the same instructions back in post #15

As you probably still know I have the Benelux map in the root of the device and the Europe map on the SD card.
When using Fastactivate it only works on the SD card and not on the map which is in the root. Constantly asking me the drive letter, but when I enter the drive letter from the root nothing happens and I'm being asked again and again for the drive letter.
What can I do to fix this?

Why not put the Benelux map on the SD card as well? It'd be a lot easier to put everything on the SD & use the 'Switch Map' function when needed.

Anyway, if you put a copy of ttgo.bif & FastActivate.exe into the Benelux map folder in the root, you can run FA from there & activate the map.

I left the Benelux map in the root of the device because that's what you suggested. I'll put it on the card as well, because there is plenty of room left.
Thanks again friend. :023:

No, the old Benelux map is redundant so should've been deleted but it doesn't matter.

You don't need a Benelux map as it's included in the full Europe map anyway, but you can keep it if you prefer.

So in the full Europe map all the other maps, like Benelux, North-, Central- and East-Europe are included?
No extra details in the Benelux map?

Hi mate,

I want to upgrade my brothers device which is a GO 510. I've used all the instructions that I've used before , put the latest Benelux map on the sd-card, but when it starts it says "no card found".
He has navcore version is 7.903

I made a mistake by using the same map that I use for my device so what map do I need to search for?

You should be referring to the tutorial you read last time as your brothers navcore is different to yours so will need a different map:

Benelux 990.8365

When I went to search for a map I thought to choose 990.8367.
So confusing :022:

It's really not that confusing buddy...

First you look at the meta codes page to see what Benelux maps are listed there that can be activated....and it shows these two:

Benelux 990.8306
Benelux 990.8365

Then refer to the chart and look across the line for your brothers NC 7.903 to see if either of those are compatible = only the Benelux 990.8365 is compatible

Simple...

Hi Fredderf,
Here I'm back again, looking for a new Benelux and Europe_Central map for my Go 740.
Which one do you recommend?
