Australia 985_8157

Postby bondy99 » Tue Feb 21, 2017 4:59 pm

Hi,
I downloaded the latest Australia Map 985_8157 three times including Meta.

I updated the meta text as FastActive did not had the latest Australia 985_8157 meta.

I followed the directions on using FastActive, each and every time I get this message Incomplete Map(s) Australia - 101061. meta => .dct ERROR

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to overcome it?

You probably haven't got the formatting of the META.txt quite right as it's activated on mine with no problems.

If you want to use my file, you can download it from the following link...just extract it to your device and then activate using FastActivate option 2 and all will be good

Hi frederf,

Thanks for your help.

When you say extract it to the device, do you mean to replace the existing Integrated Meta.txt file with yours and rename it back to Intergrated Meta.txt ?

Still have an issue with my device.

I downloaded and replaced the previous integrated.meta with the new META and renamed META to integrated.meta.

Used Option 2. patch map, came back with the same message Incomplete Map(s) Australia - 101061. meta => .dct ERROR

Obviously something wrong with my device but buggered if I know where the problem is.

No, what I said was the exact instructions I wanted you to follow. Nothing more, nothing less...

I'm afraid you created the problem yourself when you renamed my file to 'Integrated_meta.txt.

So, make sure that a copy of my untouched file called META.txt & FastActivate.exe exists in the root of your device (any copies of Integrated_meta.txt that may still be there can be deleted as they are unimportant). Then run FastActivate.exe & select option 2....it will activate sucessfully.

Btw, when your device reboots with the new map successfully activated, the ttgo.bif will update itself to show the new map number, so no worries there either.
