Igo nextgen rebooting my head unit problem

Postby spudorange » Wed Sep 30, 2015 10:16 am

Hi

I am trying to get to grips with nextgen 9.19 and am having a problem which I believe is related to it.

I have used primo 2.4 for about 18 months without problems.

The very first day (and every day I have tried since) that I installed nextgen it randomly caused my Eonon 5150 to completely hard reset.
I reverted back to primo 2.4 to test and that was fine so I know 100% it is not my head unit.

I feel pretty sure it is this version of the software and wondered if anyone else had this issue as, maybe it's a setting in the sys file.

Would appreciate thoughts on this please

It's probably an out-of-memory issue. You could put loads of memory settings into sys.txt but if it were me, I'd just stick with Primo 2.4.

Most problems can be fixed by deleting the save folder.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Thanks to you both

I think I might just go back to primo 2.4 as suggested

I will try the save file trick also mentioned.
