Hi I'm using a generic Chinese double din GPS in my car. I'm running igo 2.4. The problem I'm having is if I get stuck in traffic igo will offer a diversion if I select the diversion the full GPS head unit crashes and offers the following error message.
Fatal error occurred in main thread
Address 0x003f9b48
Exception 0x0000005


Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. The previous version of igo that I was using did the same thing.

Sounds like a memory thing. Make sure that you have the maximum memory allowed for your device.

Ok so I've just checked the box for the head unit and it states memory 256mb/128mb

Or you could be trying to load too much content when you are starting the program. Delete the .dems and the buildings and start reducing the other content areas.

I have got the full Europe maps and poi's on there I'll try deleting all that and see how it goes. Thanks for the help

I had the same issue on 2.4 version 9.6.13.267029. All problems were solved after upgrading to 9.6.13.405512.
More, I use limited content since years. It has no purpose at all to have the whole continent loaded.
Hence memory problem is not the cause (my device has 128MB)

I've just checked Yeah I'm using 9.6.13.267029 so I'm going to see if I can find the update to 9.6.13.405512

I have been hunting all day for the 9.6.13.405512 and I can't find a download that works. I don't suppose anybody here would have it

Fantastic ive got it downloaded I'm just going to get it all sorted and go and check it out

Ok so I've been out in the car and tried the 9.6.13.405512 and a strange thing has happened when the igo program loads but for some reason the the touch screen stops working and I'm unable to choose a language and therefore can't go any further. Anybody any suggestions
