Cannot find nngnavi error message

Postby Petty » Wed Nov 23, 2016 1:52 pm

Hi,
I recently purchased a used vehicle,I went to use the navigation and got directed to the calibration screen. After the step I received "error, failed to save touch" followed by "cannot find nngnavi,(or one of its components) Make sure the path and filename are correct and all the required libraries are available ". On the actual unit it has a slot for the SD card but it's missing, so I assume the previous owner removed it. Could someone please assist me with on where to get the software so I can put it on an SD card? The unit is a CS‑GM1210‑US, Car Show by Rosen running the Windows

Thanks in advance

Download (using uTorrent) "Igo primo" from this post (#8).
Extract the file onto your computer.
Copy the base needed files to a new sdCard (read first post on the download thraed).
Rename the Primo2.exe to nngnavi.exe (This is probably what the unit is looking for). Alternatively, if the unit have the option to navigate to the navigation folder, use it and point to the exe file.
Insert the sdCard to the slot and try if it works.
If it does, add your files (map, poi etc) and enjoy it.

If you get an error message on exit, read this.
No help by PM, post your questions on the relevant forum and thread only!
I'm sorry, but please don't PM me with reupload requsts.

The GPS software on the GM1210 is stored internally. The MicroSD slot is for media files, not GPS files. Sounds like there is an issue with the unit. You might want to try reinstalling the firmware in the hopes it restores the GPS software as well....
