unlocked thailand map for garmin nuvi 54 lm

as the title says, looking for a unlocked thailand for a nuvi 54lm

So I download the above map,its unlocked yet I can't get it to work on the device,tried on device memory and SD card using various imagines like supp or prom but it doesn't show up,sny help to fix would be great thanks

This map should be already unlocked if you did not managed to work on your device it may be because you need to patch your firmware use the parch soft from this site.

haven,t patched a garmin before unlocked maps always seemed to work, how is this done and willit affect the map on there
its a nuvi54lm model

The patch just allow to the firmware to recognise unlocked maps it does not affect any map.
Just take backup before
read all the post

thanks, so going to have go t this not sure which files i need though the device is nuvi 54 software version 4, i have backed up the device and tried to download the updater but no links work.

also i have have unhidden all files on the devices but pressing in top right of screen for mass storage not working and trying to find the hwid in the xml file is difficult
