Not enough on my Nuvi 660

Hi, i have to put the new map on my Nuvi 660, but in Garmin folder there is not enough memory to put all the 1,9 GB map into it.

I have tryed to put the map on my 4Gb SD card, but i dosn´t work ???

What do i do ? I is possible to split the map into 2 files or what ???

PS: The map works fine on my Nokia N95 8Gb...

Did you try a firmware upgrade with garmin webupdater? May be, your device is not SDHC-compatible for SD-cards bigger than 2 GB.

Ahhhh....... Maybe it is the CD card... I have upgraded to the last firmware (4.90) before i install the map, and my SD card is a 4Gb SDHC- so maybe i have to buy a 2Gb card. Thanks for the answer....

Your Nuvi 660 support 4GB SD-Card not SDHC since firmware 2.60

Oh ****, the map can not fit on a 2Gb SD card...... is there any other solution ???

Make a smaller image with the mapsource-version.
