Img file to MapSource

I know this must have been answer, but I could not find it in a search.

I have downloaded gmapsupp.img for Garmin Full North America NT 2013.30 Unlocked IMG torrent. I know how to transfer the maps to my StreetPilot 2720 by changing the name to gmapprom.img. My problem is how to I update my MapSource map on my PC? I do not have a update.msi file.

You must download mapsource/gmap version to use in mapsource or basecamp. Img version is not really usable on PC!
