Garmin camper 760mlt-d help please

Hi I bought this from Amazon and collected it yesterday. We are currently on holiday an I don't have access to a computer. Is the unit supposed to come with maps pre-loaded? When I try to input a destination I get the error code 'no map data available'. Have checked the maps and there does not appear to be one present? It just says update maps. Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone help?

Hi! Without to know what exactly you order from Amazon i can just say it is not obligatory such kind of devices to come with a map unless it is mentioned! But anyway at any time later you may upload one!

Since it is mentioned LMT-D means you have a LifeTime update of map and Traffic you may try to connect with a PC. This surprise me do not have already any map on it!

Anyone come across this before?
