could someone help me to get the correct map updates for my nuvi 1340, I would like the most upto date map for my unit for the uk
, ive been reading here on the forum for a while and have done nothing more than confused myself further lol
hope someone can point me to correct files

The "correct" map for your device would be City Navigator Europe NT, but it's at the moment only available in version 2014.40 from February of this year.
But there you find West Europe or UK+Ireland as ready to use unlocked image including the suitable JCV.

You can also take the brand new Unicode version NTU 2015.20, but there you have no suitable JCV, because this version isn't intended by Garmin for your device. We hope that the "normal" NT version 2015.20 comes soon, but nobody knows exactly.
