My GPS is having me going weird routes

Postby RoadnTrail » Thu Mar 23, 2017 10:44 pm

I have an older Mio 310X using iGo8, GJ and updated maps. For example I was going on Interstate 95 in the east coast of the US. It had me go off at an exit which paralleled the highway for a tenth of a mile and then got me back on. Other times it has me take routes that are obviously wrong when the road that I am on is more direct. Would my problem be the Mio GPS, the maps or something else? I have the settings as accepting toll roads and the navigation being fast.

Help!

Yes, try "easy". I have best experience by "easy"
Your post is similar to something I read before, posted by nabi I think. I can't find the post again :(
Anyway, using Navteq/Here maps, IGO made do him funny detours in his country, TeleAlas maps did not.
Chas521 had the experience on an older Primo and Navteq/Here driving in New York.
Therefor I think either the maps or the program is the culprit.

You're kinda correct. But the good maps were Navteq [HERE] and the maps causing problems were TA maps [now TT for Igo]. The Igo8 program and Amigo both worked flawlessly while Primo [even now] not so good.
