I have download the file from Gonav8 website (DT_100Navi.rar 215 mb) and put happyfile from Artfull post#1, unfortunately trying to start and loading with sound then stop / hang. I use androids map and put in maps folder under navi..do youknow what the problem is?

In my device the happyfiles do not work properly/hang, and the original gonav8.exe from artfull post#1 can run (still locked) but problem when trying press the address search/POI search.
Hope somebody can fixed it...

BTW, if i change the original file com to any other com eg com2 com3 com7, it can run. So i think it might be the Altas / MedaTek GPS issue

Gonav 7 and Papago X7.1 Taiwan have similar issue when running on GPS with English OS.
Check and try using this method :

When search road/poi it will give error if you use other maps. If installed with G8 original TW Maps it works

When you resolve problem in X5.5 T600, did you do same way on Gonav 8? Check again your exe X5.5 on IDA Pro on that address that you could resolve on COM issue.

When all the files together, I search files name :

NeoDVBT.exe

I found all of them and delete it. (This is do through computer)

The result is, when I try fourth of the .exe, 2 of them play a short music and another 2 plays nearly end of the music.

The same is, all of them stuck a while, and return the previous folder

If u download the map according to Nagas' instruction, u will get R51.
If u download the Beta map u will get R21.
